What is Outpost 422?
We are the academic brand of veterans who transition from the Veterans Crisis Line to Madison College who help veterans survive the appeals system. We are meet and greet tabling service to assist servicemembers and veterans who attend Madison College. Our mission is to develop a welcoming committee at the Madison College Truax campus.
We are alumni of the Madison College UW Liberal Arts Transfer program and Technical College Apprenticeships. Our responsibility as veterans is to offer our mental health stories as a means to end veteran suicide. We are panelists who welcome companies to assist with Q&A interviews to spread awareness of PTSD and how we’re organizing our coalition to end veteran suicide.
We take donations for CBD Coffee, CBD tea and Chicken Soup. The canteen is the place we veterans come to when we are dog-tired to replenish with coffee and conversation in the field as light fighters. We assist our community as battle buddies to open our discussion to what hardships we have faced with our Building 22 stay and how we can improve how we treat one another.

We take perks and running costs off the top to cover our expenses and the rest will be invested in our Practicum Op-ed campaign to end veteran suicide. The 422nd Rescue and Recovery Brigade is operated by veterans who have found their way out of the abyss.
“We speak the truths about suicide, VA opiate addiction homelessness, to teach writing mechanisms through the Outpost 422 Practicum Internships we are creating.” -Outpost 422 Mission Statement.
July 18th & 19th we will set up our first event at the Department of the American Legion Convention in Madison, WI. We are collecting and redistributing past information in the attempt to write Op-eds for future events. The national crisis calls to write journalism and create our press starting at our State Street headquartered office.

Outpost 422 Executive Summary Flow Chart
I started out at Building 22 after a Veterans Crisis Line referral from a recommendation by the company EAP Program that led to winning my appeal. I am currently re-evaluating and reassessing my harassment story to share a three-minute pitch of what happened, how I ended up in college, and how the VA VITAL Program will help you.
Our interns will enter the first phase of Truax part-time to get acquainted. These three courses are what I recommend first after completing Accuplacer and entrance that we assist with as Service Officers to Post 501. I am asking for three Service Officers to recruit for my program per post.
-Intro to Literature
-Practicum 1 or a College Writing prep class
I will mentor blog-casting through the Practicum phase to produce a development through the stuck point A-B-C sheets and a tutorial on how to use the Writing Center at Truax. These courses may be taught online and will help tutor at Post 501 on Saturdays.
We will be writing for Hemp Farmers for applied research for the WI DATCP to assist past commanders who are inactive to inspect documentation and cooperative solvency at our Outpost 422 locations we set up on farms. We are writing the service plan at Madison College to assist with transferring to UW Parkside and UW Whitewater. We want the VA VITAL veteran to commit to two years at Truax to keep the Wisconsin tax payer cost down for tuition.
