University of Wisconsin-Whitewater student veteran raises money to protect the University of Wisconsin Missing-in-action Recovery and Identification Project by creating a Capstone Public Affairs campaign

Outpost 422 seeks to raise $50,000 by launching a campaign to fund and raise awareness for repatriating Lieutenant Jerome Volk’s remains and return to Volk Airfield.

The campaign seeks to bring the Volk family closure and continuously fund the University of Wisconsin Missing-in-action Recovery and Identification Project.

Lieutenant Jerome A. Volk was killed on November 7, 1951 on a low level bombing run where his P-80 Shooting Star crashed. He was never returned home. Please remember him this POW MIA Recognition Day September 17, 2021. 60 years missing is too many.
