Independent veteran education and source-controlled public-interest reporting.

Outpost 422 is the reporting home for the Jaded Patriot Brief, Gonzo-19 field storytelling, and the JEDVIDENCE method.

What we publish

Outpost 422 publishes documentary updates, public-interest explainers, metadata-led chronology work, and reflective Gonzo-19 essays about veteran experience, education, work, institutional communication, and the public record.

The Gonzo-19 generator

JEDVIDENCE is the generator and aggregator behind the workflow. It helps convert authorized documents, notes, records, and field observations into an organized editorial draft in the Gonzo-19 introspective blogging style.

The system does not turn a document into a fact merely because it is uploaded. It preserves the source, identifies the date and speaker, distinguishes allegation from record, displays competing accounts, and marks unanswered questions. Bradley J. Burt reviews, corrects, authors, and approves every public release.

Editorial standard

Source first. Chronology before conclusions. Evidence before advocacy. Human review always.

Outpost 422 distinguishes reporting, commentary, advocacy, and adjudication. We do not ask readers to treat an AI output, allegation, or legal filing as a final finding. We present the record as clearly as possible and leave legal conclusions to the appropriate decision-makers.

For reporters, educators, and researchers

Use this page to understand the project, request public-facing information, or follow new releases. The JEDVIDENCE Vetting Gateway explains how source material is prepared for a private review workflow.

For sensitive records

Do not send unredacted medical, legal, employment, or third-party information through public comments or open forms. Preserve originals and use only authorized working copies for private review.

Boilerplate

Outpost 422 is an independent veteran education and public-interest reporting platform produced by Bob Cobb Freelance Ink LLC. Its JEDVIDENCE methodology combines field documentation, provenance, chronology, corroboration, and AI-assisted variable analysis under human editorial control.
